Hey! So Glad You're Here.

​I'm Leyla Dickey and I'm here to tell you a little bit about me. Well for starters, I was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Fun fact my dad was born in Texas so he supports the Longhorns (football) so he tells me to tell everyone I'm from Texas! Anyways, I was born in Oklahoma but have moved 16 times in 12 years. Crazy right?!  Well I have an explanation, my dad is in the United States Navy so we get orders to move to different places all of the time. Fortunately we're retiring some time in 2021. I've met all sorts of people through all of the moving, one of my fondest memories of Florida (one of the places I moved) would be the banana spiders. They were huge! My friends and I would go out and catch them, then bring home giant tupperwares full of SPIDERS! My mom has aracnofobia, so she had mini heart attacks every time. My dad had one named Fred on our front porch but then my mom killed it with a hose. Another thing about me is that I'm 12 years of age. I’m a Scorpio! A few of my hobbies are art, riding (horses), singing, makeup, and writing (although I only really do it for school now). I have two horses, Majik and ladybug. Another fun fact is we figured out Ladybugs name by using my nickname Bug and combining it with Ladybugs old name lady to make LadyBug! LadyBug is a 2 year old mare morgan and Majik is a 15 year old  thoroughbred gelding. I absolutely love my horses, family, and pets. I have 2 cats, 4 dogs, 2 turtles, 1 fish, a pig (not permanent), 2 horses, and 1 scorpion. Geez that's a lot, but I love em all! My dream job is to be a veterinarian. I want to stay home for college to run our future farm in Texas. One of my dreams is to become the world's most famous hunter/jumper rider.  I ride english and sometimes western for gymkhanas and cowboy challenges. I've ridden saddleseat, hunter, and am just starting hunter/jumper. I'm training Ladybug and Majik with my mom and doing homeschool.
